Foundations

Foundations is an annual day conference uniting churches from across the region for a time of powerful Bible teaching, heartfelt worship, fellowship, prayer, and encouragement.

With roots reaching back to the 1800s, the conference began life as the Tent Meetings—a cherished tradition of gathering God’s people together under canvas for spiritual renewal and shared faith. In 2018, the format evolved, and we moved to the Red Farm Barn in Stonham, marking a new chapter with a new name: Foundations.

As the event has continued to grow, so has our need for space and opportunity. We’re thrilled that this year’s conference will be held at Trinity Park, a new venue that reflects the growing hunger for unity, truth, and the presence of God among our churches.

Whether you’ve joined us for decades or are attending for the first time, Foundations is a place to deepen your faith, build lasting relationships, and be refreshed in your walk with Jesus.

Jamie SouthcombeMain Meeting Teaching

Jamie worked as an accountant for several years in Surrey before training at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and spending some time at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington D.C.. Jamie is married to Gracie and they have four children. He has developed a love for good coffee, enjoys playing any sport with a ball, and also supports Liverpool F.C.
